DFPD has responded to a 2-motor vehicle accident on Hwy. 160 at the intersection on
CR225A.

out at 11:59a. Our units
arrived to a 2-motor vehicle ‘t-bone’ accident with injuries - one patient
has been transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center.
Due to the extent of the accident and subsequent clean-up, travel in
both directions will be restricted for approximately 2 hours. Please be careful driving through the area and, if possible, take another route.
Colorado
State Patrol & La Plata County Sheriff’s Department are directing traffic and
investigating at the scene.
DFPD Engine
1 will remain on scene during clean-up.
DFPD responded to the accident with one engine, two ambulances, and two command vehicles (Battalion Chief and EMS Captain).
ReplyDeleteAs of 2:00pm, DFPD is clearing the scene of the accident. Hwy. 160 will have unrestricted travel in both directions by 2:15pm.
